Fraternity of Men

Gather and discuss what it means to be a Godly man on the basis of His Word. Through Bible study and prayer each man strives to grow and mature into the man God calls him to be. Engage in a variety of service projects to care for those in need and allow relationships to build.

Garden of Eat'n

Although you wouldn’t notice it the first time you drive by the church, there is a garden tucked back in the property by the storage shed. No, it is not a community garden, but rather a labor of love as a community mission project. The produce that comes from this garden is all given to the Christian Community Action (CCA) food bank.

Many hours of labor go into it. From preparing the soil, to planting, weeding, thinning, mulching, watering, and the back breaking job of picking! But with all of the labor, we thank the Lord for the opportunity of having this garden and providing to people in need. Hopefully, in providing food for them physically, we may also reach them spiritually.

And no, to any question as to whether we take any for ourselves!! God has richly provided for us so that we may be a blessing to others! We may pop a cherry tomato into our mouth while picking, but only to sustain us in the Texas heat!!

We invite you to go take a look at how nicely it is growing and producing, but we do ask that you please don't allow children to run through, as plants are fragile and easily broken.

Greeters

Lamb of God seeks to create an open, welcoming environment for all our guests. Our Greeter Ministry exists to welcome people as they enter the church and make them feel at home. Have a question about something on Sunday morning? Speak to one of our greeters, or stop by our Information Desk. Something not quite right at church? Let one of us know so we can address the problem. Interested in sharing the love of Christ with others as a greeter?

Grief Ministry

The Grief Ministry provides support through GriefShare which is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You do not have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare biblical based video seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You will gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Live Nativity

The Live Nativity is an annual presentation of the Christmas story, where we invite the community to share this joy of Christmas with us. Come ride the hayride and listen to the Christmas story as it is acted out by costumed characters in live, beautiful scenes.

When the hayride is over, you can stop off at our petting zoo. Or, come inside and warm up with free hot cider and cookies. Listen as musicians play your favorite Christmas carols, or have your picture taken in front of the beautiful Christmas tree.

We invite all who are interested to help us as characters, set builders, animal keepers, costume makers and costuming assistants, greeters, and traffic controllers. There's usually something for everyone's talents.
