Hands of Friendship

Hands of Friendship volunteers are friends to other people within the congregation, their families and/or friends and are willing to meet to provide prayers, visits, services, or other needs to those people.
Hands of Friendship volunteers assist others in one or more of the following ways:
- Providing transportation when needed.
- Visiting shut-ins or others who are not able to get out on their own.
- Being a friend and confidant to those in need.
- Finding additional resources or providing services as needed.
The size and makeup of your friendship family will be adjusted to fit the amount of time and energy you are able to give to this ministry. You will be requested to make at least monthly contact with members of your friendship family. Each volunteer is requested to make a one-year commitment to this ministry. When the year is up, you can either continue in the ministry or move to other areas of service.
