The Lutheran Difference

As Lutherans interact with other Christians, they often find themselves struggling to explain their beliefs and practices. Although many Lutherans have learned the ‘what’ of the doctrines of the Church, they do not always have a full scriptural foundation to share the ‘why’. The Lutheran Difference identifies how Lutherans differ from other Christians and shows from the Bible why Lutherans differ. Such information will prepare Lutherans to share their faith clearly, and it will help non-Lutherans understand the Lutheran difference.

Galatians/Luther's 'Great Galatians Commentary'

The Reformation Fathers revitalized the Church with their influential biblical interpretations and application through reading, studying, translating, and preaching God’s Word. Martin Luther’s study on Galatians is widely considered one of his finest works. Join Mark Goodson as we explore the beautiful Gospel imagery of St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians, seen through the eyes of the Great Reformer, Luther.

Apologetics

In 1 Peter 3:15 we are called to “Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.” Survey the evidence for the central truths of Christianity: the existence of God, the deity and resurrection of Christ, and the authority and truth of the Bible. Identify common objections and challenges that have been brought against the Christian faith and be able to provide a rebuttal or critique. Know what you believe and why you believe it!
