Garden of Eat'n

Saturday, February 13, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Spring will be here soon, and it is time to plant seeds in the Garden of Eat’n. We are asking for volunteers to help with the planting and ongoing maintenance of the garden.  No skills or tools necessary – just a pair of garden gloves.

Many hours of labor go into caring for the Garden of Eat'n. From preparing the soil to planting, weeding, thinning, mulching, watering, and the back-breaking job of picking! But with all of the labor, we thank the Lord for the opportunity of having this garden and providing to people in need. Hopefully, in providing food for them physically, we may also reach them spiritually.

And no, to any question as to whether we take any for ourselves!! God has richly provided for us so that we may be a blessing to others! We may pop a cherry tomato into our mouth while picking, but only to sustain us in the Texas heat!!

We invite you to sign up to let us know that you are interested in volunteering to serve with us.

By providing your contact information, the leaders will be in touch with you to let you know when garden activities are scheduled.  Some activities are weather dependent and by providing your contact information we can keep you informed of garden activities.
